Don't let go of what we used to have yesterday,

Because of what I had mistaken we had today.

You can't just forget about being great friends.

I'm still me, and your still you.

We're still ourselves, and isn't that all that matters?

You still you, 

Me still me.

Isn't that the perfect recipe,

For returning to our earlier lives?

Don't forget about what we used to have.

What we used to be. 

Who we used to be.

We were so close.

But now we're so far apart.

Almost as if strangers.

Ignoring each others presence, thinking it's for the best.

But is it really?

What happened to

Friends once, Friends still, Friends Forever?

Or is that all past us now?

All these Questions, 

These Questions are my keys to my answer.
