As I fell, from my cloud among the skies
I noticed something special
I noticed the most beautiful perfect thing I've ever seen
You know what that was?
You.
And I couldn't stand to see you fall from the skies as I was
I had to overcome the great burdens that were pulling me to the ground
I only had one true want in the universe
It was to pull you back up
And I really tried
I tried for you
For me too..
I only wished you would've pulled me up too..
But as soon as you were high again
You acted like I wasn't there
You pushed me down
Refused to pull me up
Left me there to fend for myself
And I told you I loved you
You made me feel like nothing
And I plunged into the ground
In an attempt to end it all.

I'm not sure what it is about this poem, but I really like it! I know that's not the most helpful review, but the whole poem has a very dream-like feel to it. You wrote such a heart-breaking topic in such a beautiful manner, so I applaud you for that! I especially love how you start out the poem in a very light and endearing tone, but by the end it's clear that the ending doesn't mirror the beginning at all in tone. Love is such complicated emotion...

If this is based off of a personal experience, I hope that you are making your way off of the ground and into the sky again!
