What's to come

What's to come

A Poem by Polysterene

Just some thoughts.

If we only knew that social change was withing the range of our domain so to complain is to refrain from being to blame for the masters untamed
In which we rename and reclaim
Enforcing their claim to fame
Unrest causing tension for the intentions of the great
The public mocking it physically in state
In Congress. The media. The latest gossip the news.
The news of being in the know of what they tell us is so
They keep us in check causing all the Unrest
Paranoid we stand we know the greater plan
to again cleanse the man
Will anyone take a stand
This trump guy is all trumped up about power just so he has the spotlight for an hour.  This time it's different though he has the finances and backing
Isn't isn't it terrifying to see what our society is lacking
We have a need for speed and a greed for green. Left behind are when morals once seen. The exceptions of yesterday are the norms of. Today.
Constantly. I ponder when our common sense got away.
Perhaps pushing our children though things they can't do while bullies watch from the sidelines continuing what they do. We have altered or vegetation our very way of life and they ask about the cancer the aids and the strife that illness brings on in this fast paced life. External elements penetrate our bodies differentiating us from.the other mammals around me. Ability to think for ourselves and empathize with eachother. It's what has made us human unlike any other, creature on this planet. They cease to exist. So unless we create some change I promise you this.  Your children will grow up without walls or likely a brother as war destroyed the one and disease the other.  eliminate the elitists mind set. Still wondering why  we aren't there yet? Humans are selfish we have evolved to be so. Throughout time we come and go..soon there will be a place to come.mo more as we chop the rain forest down to earth's floor. Sucking the life out of this creature that has given us so much.  A place to lay our head and a light source we trust Think of the generations ahead next time you feel that you have stopped dead.  Dead in your tracks or dead in your path look around and make this place last.
