Four confessions and a love note

Four confessions and a love note

A Poem by Polydeuces

I
Sometimes in the long nights I lay awake in the dark
I still feel your teeth run down my neck
and I can't help but feel disgusted.

II
When you hold my hand
and say "I love you"
you're lying.

III
I hope you remember my name
when writing your suicide note.

IV
At night I am haunted by beasts
they sound like you when they scream
"Why, oh why did you run away?
I am so
hungry."

V
Sometimes in the long nights I lay awake in the dark
I still feel your teeth run down my neck
and I can't help but feel loved.

Author's Note

Polydeuces
I am unsure about the third line of the second "confession". The original was "I hope you're lying" but I felt it clashed with the first line of the third confession.
