Us mothsA Poem by MollyA poem
The trio lay cocooned
Together Through the long winter nights And hatched within seconds In the warm summer light They fluttered away dew In the warmth of the sun Played in the Meadow of the day As twilight fell They danced alone Yearning for some light One to the flicker of a candle Burned its wings One to the glint of cat’s eyes Was ripped The other opted for The loneliness Of The Moon. © 2012 MollyReviews
