untitledA Poem by Savanna LeeAngsty teen stuff.
Living up to you is like
strapping broken wings to a caterpillar, holding your breath and closing your eyes (so you won't see the wreckage you leave behind.) I know that it's silly, just a pretense of falling and holding tight but it's all I've ever wanted (when you can have everything does it matter anymore?) I think what bothers me most is knowing you could take it, because it's firmly in your grasp, but you don't want it bad enough Your mercy sickens me. (I'm not worth staying for, but I'm sure you will be.) © 2010 Savanna Lee |
