Crimson Memories

Crimson Memories

A Poem by PolaroidRaid

Melted diamonds streaming down my cheeks
awakening my fears.
Silent screaming
ripping through reality.
Crimson memories,
desperate to be forgotten.
What was once so effortlessly painstaking
grabbed hold of my everlasting identity.
Terrified of the past,
terrified of the future.

This piece is just amazing, the words and similes fit nicely together with the idea of it. It's as if a reoccurring nightmare that you can never get rid of, great write :)

Sometimes our past keeps us from trying new things or the same things again because of what happened the first time. You captured the feeling very well. Nice job.
