I Choose to Live

Words of antagonistic nature swallow my future.

What lacks is the truth.

The truth and stature that one day,

I will be free.

Such confusion presumes my every last ounce of being.

I am at war with myself.

This self-destructive cycle destroyed my everlasting integrity.

It is time to reclaim the forgotten.

I have forgotten my true identity,

but the truth was forever lacking its true intent.

Throughout the years

I have come to the conclusion that I was forever concealed behind my insecurities.

My determination will claim my renewal.

I will be found.

I will be victorious.

Verrrrry good. Incredibly deep and moving -- I could feel your struggle and the truth behind your words. You really connected with the reader. I loved your message and determination in the last stanza. The only thing I would change is "I will be victor" to "I will be the victor" or "I would be victorious," as it sounds a bit awkward as is. I look forward to reading more of your work!
