Melted Rain

Melted Rain

A Poem by PolaroidRaid
"

This is a poem expressing my new, profound freedom. I would be "free, free at last".

"
The rain melted down my face
swallowing my tears.
All that stood left was a simple melody
and a solemn goodbye.

The sun's dignity swept through the clouds
destroying my pain.
Light would regain my strength.

There stood hope in my presence
that would one day abolish my insecurities.
Away with doubt once so prominently unforgotten.

I would be free,
free at last.

seems a little short lived. maybe more visual aid would be good, but other than that it seems good :)
