Prologue- Weird Dreams

Prologue- Weird Dreams

A Chapter by FiveTalentsWorking

My eyes fluttered and I was blinded by, well, whiteness. I was on a bed with white sheets and white pillows.

I had been trapped in this room for hours; an empty, white-walled room. No windows; nothing but a bed, a large mirror and a locked door. I knew it was locked because it was the first thing I checked.

"Hello?" I said softly. No answer.

Fear and adrenaline kicked in, why was I here? Was I going to get killed?

I just wanted answers.

"Hello? Is somebody here? Please! I just want to know what is going on!" I yelled as loudly as possible.

Suddenly a voice sounded over a speaker phone, "Calm down, Katherine. We are just going to test you," he paused, "Right about now you should reconize my voice. Tell me, who am I?"

Confusion filled my voice, "I don't even know my own story," -my voice broke down with fear until it became a whisper- "How can you expect me to know yours?"

------------

I woke up, for real this time.

What was that? I thought. This officially was the most bizarre dream I have ever had.
