My Dear MindA Poem by Hailey MaeSometimes I feel my mind and I are two different entities...I blame it on the Gemini!
My Dear Mind
My dear Mind, you jump from the pinnacle of happiness, and in a split second descend into the depths of sorrow. Many scenarios play out, leaving one of many varieties. Mind, you are always reeling.
My dear Mind, how endless while you sleep, catering to the dreams which snatch the time you call rest. Could it be so true, that you want something so badly, unless you obtain it, you don't allow yourself an escape? Mind, you are always reeling.
My dear Mind, is it so simple, that the key point desires to keep thinking? You, sweet mind are altogether powerful, on the flip side of that equally destructive. Manipulative in what's felt, said, and done. Mind, you are always reeling.
My dear Mind, these feelings may be what is best, but hallucinations are too damn condescending. Privily skilled against your own nation, that is in and of yourself. Composing your cleverly crafted riddles often bought when spoon fed personalized attacks and lies. Mind, you are always reeling.
My dear Mind, this chain reaction does nothing but scar you. Know you create mazes that are endless, you have wired all the circuits. Longing for minds of equal value to that of your own. Looking for comradery reflecting the spot-on mirages. Understanding that of your own intricacies travel to your own horizons.
Mind, there is none like you.
