Sun Up, Sun Down

Sun Up, Sun Down

A Poem by Hailey Mae
"

There's always mysteries in the sun and under it. Just trying my hand at what I think it feels while "watching."

"

                      Sun Up, Sun Down

A glorious glow that something good is about to happen.

It continues on...

even through the vicious fog.

Its kind heart can not be broken,

for the rays always seem to stretch to the heavens,

with the many alluring smiles it bestows upon the earth.

In harmony it sings beside multitudes of creatures who endure here.

In the mist of trouble cowards behind the clouds,

avoiding the hurt many try to put upon it.

Casting those stones to avoid the shadows.

Trying to tie the hands that bind,

plaguing man kind.

When the night comes out from under,

and the sun rests its weary head,

in those moments lies contentment.
