I'm Waiting...A Poem by Poetry PigI don't have much of a description for this one. I wrote it after a long time relationship that ended horribly.
I guess I should have noticed this, but now I get it
This is something I should have expected When I met you, a friendship is where I should have left it Looking back, I really f*****g regret it The lies you told, taking my hand leading me of track You didn't love me, I was a placeholder for the emptiness you had Truth was, you're whole plan was to hold me back And yeah, it pisses me off a bit Now, the only thing circling in my head Is the thought of how you are so pathetic Karma's a b***h, it always comes back around And I hope that it settles on your shoulders, heavier than 10 ton boulders Holding you down The lies you've told, cramming into your mouth Making it so you can't speak a sound So when the storm comes, you won't have a choice You will watch the mistakes you've made fall down like rain Flooding your mind And you'll drown in the sea of your own greed But I'll be waiting here for when you finally wash up on this beach Arms crossed, waiting for an apology... © 2016 Poetry PigAuthor's Note
