WinterA Story by PoetryPenPal
Winter#2
The bitter,
coldness of the air nips your skin, despite your several layers of clothes,
including your couple of scarves, mittens, and your hat. Whenever you exhale,
your breath curls like smoke from a dragon’s snout, dissolving quickly in the
frigid wind. Then when you inhale, your throat stings from the cold. Snow
crunches under your boots and falls from the sky, resembling tiny angles. Hot
chocolate is steaming in the warm house that waits in front of you. There is
also a fireplace that will dry your wet clothes and melt the snow in your
eyelashes. Winter has arrived!
