The Blue-GreenA Poem by PoetryPenPalSweet waves of Deep blue-green Dance back and forth Under a shining sun. I listen to the waves Crash against the shore And the plopping of fish Falling back into the sea. I smell the salty, sweet air And feel it caress my face With it's hands made of Sweet silence. Silence. Its so beautiful. I dip my feet in the sea And go under, Dragging myself down. I can taste the water's Salt and feel it Pulling me in. I go with it, Allowing it to Let me taste more of it's Sweet bitter self. It takes my breath away, And I let it take it. Why? Why did I let it take it? Take me? How could I be so foolish To let myself drown?
