Violence

Violence

A Poem by PoetryPenPal
"

I wrote this after hearing Marshal "Soulful" Jones's Touchscreen poem. Enjoy!

"
You know you have to face reality,
But how can you face reality
When reality has no face?
Since violence took it's place
Even though it has no place
And will never have a place
Reality had no face.
Now all you people think!
Do you want fame?
Or tears streaming down faces
Like rain on a window pain?
Cause there's certinally pain
On that window
Or maybe a new widow
Or a mother without a child
Do you think their pain is mild?
Well think again because people
Are scared to walk across the streets
And can't think with tears on their face
Or fear in loves place.
Life.
Its a moment worth living for,
So let us live it.

It is a scary world. Too much violence is advertise in the media. We must find the good and do our best to make our world okay. A powerful poem. Open the door to a long conversation. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Very wise words....compassionate ones. We all have reason to cry real tears at some point in our lives...if we are feeling people. Violence is unfortunately part of our world. It seems to be increasing and that is a real concern. However, life is ALWAYS worth living and we have to make the most of every day. Your images are vivid and your message is a good one. I enjoyed this. Lydi**
