Crimson Lies

Crimson Lies

A Poem by Poetic Solace
"

Small lies aren't always small... Are they?

"

"The moment I said it, the moment I opened my mouth, the life in you died..."

We fade in and out of focus

Lies being told

Seemingly small lies

That shouldn't cause pain

No hesitation was shown in your eys

You realize that

When you spoke those words

There would be no turning back

Those lies you spoke

Those hidden emotions

Those crimson lies

Were all for me?

I don't believe it at all

I don't believe that you said those words

To "protect" me

Protecting me was your "job"

And yet,

Those crimson lies you told

Those lies

Those SMALL LIES

Do you know how much they hurt?

How much I cried over them?

Do you see the pain in my eyes now?

Do you see my tears falling down?

Do you know how I feel now?

Do you?!

Tell me, because all I feel...

Is Pain...
