For You, AnitaA Poem by Poetic SolaceMemory of a person, whom i miss dearly"Angel of Mercy, how did you find me?"
Those were the words that fell from your lips that day Your bloodstained ones Crimson splashed with purple against your pale skin The blood splattered against the wall Tells of the deed you have committed
The blood still is on my hands I see you, I miss you I remember those old days When we used to play on the swings And bike until our legs gave way Those, were the good days
Now it's all so different You died, disappeared from my life Dead and gone
You used to always make hints at what you were going to do Was it that I didn't listen? Or was it just that I didn't want to believe it Until the day you died
The rain never stopped that day From the moment I woke up I felt empty Saturday was your funeral
Did you know that I sang for you? Did you know, that half way through the song, I cried? It's not better when you leave everything behind, dear It makes it more painful for the people to live
That's what I'm doing now, Living a life, with the memory of you Pulling me down slowly Tugging me into the abyss Until, one day I disappear. © 2009 Poetic SolaceReviews
