SHE WALKS ON MY GRAVE

SHE WALKS ON MY GRAVE

A Poem by Alfred Vassallo
"

True love stays for ever.

"

She walks on my grave

As she weeps for me

She is very distraught

She is never free.

She walks on my grave

Remembering well

She cries for my soul

Never says farewell.

She walks on my grave

Abandoned with grime

Yet she kneels on it

She weeps for my crime.

She walks on my grave

Feeling her presence

Reliving her life

Her adolescence.

She is in my grave

With me in this hole

Everything is gone

Now our love is whole
