Trembled FoundationsA Poem by Poetry97Once again I've written until the early hours of the morning. I am however quite happy with the end result. I'll leave out my interpretation, It's better if it carries personal meaning.
The ground turns moist from heaven's tears,
they fall from clouds of heavy doubt; and fuel the growth of worldly fears, which scares even the most devout. The highest powers fade away into the wickedness of sanity, vociferations for a brighter day, ripple the oceans of reality. As bridges burn in jaundiced flames, bilateral worlds are thrown asunder, hopes and dreams of godless claim, admitted true with daunting thunder. A lightning storm, caused by notions, tears through hearts and minds alike; the bolts deprive this world's emotions - its heart they've pierced like sharpened pikes. - Gabriel Gustafsson, 5th of January 2016.
