Yellow Butterfly

There isn't that much difference, between you and I...

We laugh we breath we eat we sleep, we even sometimes cry...

But there is one thing noticeably different  I see, between you and I...

A distance between us which is so vast, sometimes I wish I could fly...

Bridging  this gap isn't easy, so many rivers to cross and  mountains to climb... 

But my love for you is so pure and true, a feeling so sublime...

So for now my soulmate I patiently wait for this moment to arrive...

It's been so long and I believe our time will come, for now, I know I'll survive...

Talking on the phone, I'm not alone as you reassure me everything is going to be alright...

The thought of one day seeing you fills me with excitement and sheer delight...

Snatching these precious moments to communicate, to say how we truly feel...

This means so much to me knowing we are both keeping it real...

Being on the phone, it's always late and for me the sun is dawning...

So I'm sending you this poem right now so I don't wake you up in my morning!

I loveyour words , you express your loging to your lover so well , beautifully written ... when you are in love , notthing seem to br a problem , not even diffrent time , diffrent space and location .... there are unseen connections , made of silk and light , that keeps the hearts connected , even whrn you sleep , even he did ... one day you will meet , if you didnt still :)

Sweet poem, I like it. I especially love the fifth line though, it speaks such reality. There will be many problems, or in this case, gaps, rivers, and mountains to pass in life. I liked the metaphor in this, it was simply wonderful! Great job!
