A Poem by Yellow Butterfly

Cannot explain why flutters fly by Spreading wings as tides ride high
Holding onto this feeling for dear life
Unable to hide these emotions inside
Laid bare exposed a fragile heart cries
Every second counts as this time flies
Trying to process all real possibilities
Unsure of unforeseen uncertainties
Can’t run from ones vulnerabilities
Questioning ones own abilities
As these two souls collide
This...feeling can't hide
*******************************
Stolen moments from a look
Secrets locked away in a book
Written words unable to speak
Shyness does not mean weak
Trying to seek ways to convey
Many things needing to say
Trust, say it, use your voice
Honesty, your only choice
That look upon his face
Drinking in your grace
Reap what you sow
He needs to know
Life doesn't last
Blink, it's past

Hey stranger …thanks for that….:)

YB
it is better to regret the things you say rather then ponder the things you don't say.

A beautiful poem. Love can be fleeting. It is precious. We should do all we can to make it last. Some loves last a lifetime, some far shorter. The feeling though is never forgotten. Thank you YB for sharing your work.

Time indeed is fleeting and we must seize these moments as if they are our last. Live for that moment and make it unforgettable. Thank you YB for this lovely poem.
