Only a fool tests the depth of the water with both feet ~ African Proverb

You are deeper than skin deep

I know there is so much more

beneath the surface of your ink

show me, allow me to explore

I want to know all of you so take 

my hand, guide me on this tour

let me touch your blue prints of

stories told, those gone before

I want to feel every inch of you

let me seep into your armour

share with me the whole of you

as my heart falls for you harder

I haven't scratched the surface

of your rugged olive toned skin

I am here, ready willing and able

to give you my heart, let me in

You see, I too am deeper than

skin deep, we are two of a kind

A strong connection between us

something rare and hard to find

Yes, I also have my own stories

I keep to myself, I have never told

I would love to share with you

all of them, before we are old

Ohhh the deep connection that all hearts want, to know more of what is deep inside that only the person knows, and we so munch want that to be shared with us , so we feel is a two way thing. Is not good when only one side is open, and you never know what is the next move of the person, is such an uncomfortable feeling, and the insecurity is a slow killer of the love. You portray a very beautiful and important message here, that makes us all thing about what you are saying, Well done!!!!

Getting under the surface in such a nice way. Digging deeper into the mystery of a person for better understanding. Sometimes we just want to do that don't we? We seem to connect and have a special bond with some people, even though we may not have met them. Like your poetic expression here and also your posted image. Proverb's a good one two. Never jump in with two feet. Dip your big toe in first :))
