Invisible....

Invisible....

A Poem by Yellow Butterfly

Why do they say that sometimes true love is blind

Is it because love is invisible to the naked eye...

A  feeling so overwhelming when being in love

makes hearts pound faster than you can ever run...

So why is it so hard to see, this love a blaze inside

every-time when your around it overpowers me...

The heat radiating igniting raging passions

releasing powerful electric currents...

Bodies moving in synchronicity

our body language doesn’t lie...

So, why don’t you see me the

way that I see and feel you..

My love is for sure real

could it be that your
love is blind?

You are welcome..:)
Bravo. Love the Socrates kind of question here. Sort of think I can appreciate.

Personally, I do not think it is a matter of love being blind, I think it comes down to people being blind to what is around them, to busy and caught up in their own worlds.

This was a nice, short read with gusto. Good kick to the head and heart.

Again, I reiterate.
Bravo, magnifico, splendid.

Thank you for this great review....
I think you've aksed the real question of love. We humans always go with the more attracted people, no matter what. And still, do we believe in love at first sight? Do we know the book is good by its cover?

Thank you so much....
You wrote a song with the lovely conversation.
The concluding line is the shortest yet proverbial.
This is a great piece for the genuine lovers.

You have cleverly twisted the saying love is blind with mastery. The whole poem builds in almost a whisper until the final truth is revealed. You are very talented and insightful. I will be sure to read more of your work.

Love the photo. Women have a far more complex and competent perception then men. We are fools in comparison. Nice write. I love your style and often relate to it.

Intriguing.... and a clever twist at the end... the lover that does not seem to see love's reality... I felt for you...

Thank you Jibey, I'm pleased you were intrigued.... :o)
Sometimes love is blind...some must have a life changing moment to realize that it is right in front of their very eyes. This is a vibrant reflection of yearning for love to be noticed.
