~Beneath the Soil~

I guess we are better off apart,
It’s the end, but only a new start,
I can’t sit here, and hide behind the  
  poetic words of wisdom that I teach,
So stand tall, for my heart will be
  harder to reach.
 
Not every day do you miss me
  or need me around,
That’s okay, I must let go, ‘Cause my  
  soul has recently been found,
I let the entrance to a beautiful place,
  stay open for you to come in,
But God found me, and took me
  from a place of sin,
I found the missing piece to my heart,
  and I found it from within.
You can no longer break me,
  and you can’t bring me down,
I’ll sit back and laugh, for it is you
  who looks like a clown,
You said you could better yourself in 
  life, if only you left this town.
The truth remains, and written on your 
  heart,
 You just haven’t been found.
 
So continue to walk around like you are    
  lost, blaming it all on me,
When you haven’t even set yourself  
  free.
So blame only yourself to walk away
  from the only one’s you’ll ever really 
  love,
It’s not even about what you can show 
  to us,
It’s about what you can show to the 
  ‘Man Above.’
 
We don’t wanna hear it, yes we’ve heard 
  it many times before,
You told her what you really felt, then 
  you shut the door,
Only it is you who is lonely, to make her 
  cry,
When she’s disturbed, the tears will 
  make her die.
 
Your endless footsteps she’ll no longer 
  have to hear,
I’ll make your distance really clear,
And a path where she’s no-where near,
And as her Angel, the Guardian of Inner 
  Soul,
I’ll see to it, that she’s letting you go.
 
She can’t get to you, and that’s what 
  you need,
To leave, you’ve done for the last time,
It’s your heart that’s next to bleed,
She’s barely planting her seed,
To bloom, & become everything you’d 
  ever need,
She’s going to do it, she will succeed,
Don’t bother coming back now;
  she’s already been freed.
