My Grandma, whom I consider to be my Mother, since she raised me fron Birth, passed away last month...May, 2008... I was extremely close to her, and loved her with all my heart. I wrote this for her and my Grandpa. This is one reason why I have not bee

~DEAR GRANDMA~

My Dearest Grandma,

 I miss you so much;

Though I still can feel,

the love in your’ touch.

~

It hasn’t been long,

since God called you Home;

And I know that is why,

I feel sad and alone!

~

When you see Grandpa,

please give him a hug;

Tell him it’s from me,

          a small piece of my love.

~

I find myself wishing,

I could feel your’ warm touch;

Or once more tell Grandpa,

his love was enough.

~

It’s hard to explain,

the pain I now feel;

Since you are not here,

it just doesn’t seem real.

~

I have to go now,

I love you, you know;

I’ll see you both soon,

when God calls me Home.

I can relate to this, losing my grandpa this past May as well.
This poem really touches my heart, your love for them is evident throughout the whole poem
and the ending is such a sweet one. What a wonderful write, what a wonderful read.
