Too many times the world swirls around dishing out its pollution of doubt
trying to dissuade me from belieiving
in the things that helps
my spirit to grow
craving the presence of something better
something that will sufficed
to satified my soul
I cry Come Lord
Come Lord
its is only you I crave
I need to drink you up
I need to drink you up
Come Lord quickly , I'm slinding
I need your energy drink
I need to drink you up

every turn every corner
is filled with discouragement
obstacles to overcome
not able to reach the top
no where to stop and rest
yet here i am
so vulnerable
not able to vocalized
the feelings of defeat

Finally peace surrounds me
tears fill my eyes as i drink
the pure love you give
How could i expressed the
emotions that overwhelmed me
My spirit settles down
the wounds of my soul start to heal

How it is that I am still here
It is not my strength
Nor any other thing i may have

So scared at times of what
this world keeps handing me
But when the world is overwhelming me
