Wind Changes
A Poem by Lynn Higgs

a poem about a philsophy of life
As the wind start to blow

through the areas of stillness

sit and wonder

where will it end now

the things that sat so quietly

on the floors of your mind

blowing in the tunnel

than before you know it

the whole thing shifts

life gets more complicated

thought you had it figure out

but the ride continues

to take you to new roads

leading you to different places

sometimes these changes seem good

when they're not

but the lessons are embedded

if you dare to look

other times they seem dark

when light is penetrating

those things you thought would stay

just in a place never to be revealed

yet here the wind blows again

where the memories

the plans

the ideas

beliefs

faiths in all things

where they land will be

in unexplored tyerritory

Changes causes

growth

you feel as everything may not stretch no more

than in a flash

you find yourself standing in the light

of a new place

somewhere where Your spirit will thrives and expand

so you can move forward

just watch the wind blow through your being

and embraced the changes

when it seems like there's

to much to carry

know the changes are all for you to learn

growing towards a better place

Living the life

that was meant to be live

Changes happened regardless

when the wind starts blowing

stirring up all the inner groans of the spirit

realized that healing is finally

going to happened

which will open the eyes of your mind

allowing more light to exist

in the places you were hiding

Wind changes

could be just what you need

even when you think you don't

Than Life seem brighter somehow

as you realized more reasons to

love the person you're becoming
