Comforter of the Spirit

Not many have learned

the skill of caring

opening your heart

letting others in

Peering deep inside

the recesses of the being

to seek what others need

Find a way to touch their wounded soul

always seeking on

how to say the words

to reach that inner hidden part

that cries in the dark

But when you come across

someone who is gifted

in retrieving the broken pieces of one

and helping others find the strength

inside of themselves

so they can stand while the storm rages

yet never taking credit

for the substucture they

graciously Maintian

So each person feels

the validation of someone

while the rest walks away

they grasped the drowning individual

being so full of a loving spirit

they never realized

what they do for others.

As they continue to

offer a safe haven

for all those who may be exhausted and

need the nurturing encouragement

so they don't drown in the distress

of tradegy of life

Sometimes it just seeing the good

of the person inside

who only wants

to help others to

become the best of

whoever they are

The only thing they want in return

is the chance to watch the person

grow strong and Stand

to be the best person they can

they acheived this by

being a comforter of the Spirit

when your spirit is in turmoil

My hope is

you will be blessed

By coming across

someone who Is

a comforter of the spirit!!!!!

I'm one who tends to shut people out.
It's not intentional, it just happens...
Strangely enough, though.
I tend to be "Comforter" for a lot of people.
Interesting how it works like that...
