GOSSIP

the destruction of Gossip

Gossip

When everyone talks

noone knows the truth

they say things

that have no meaning

just words to keep

their bored minds busy

I've seen the damage

heard the lies

even felt the pain of

the creative stories

Witness destruction

of others reputation

based on what one person thought

Yet the gossip continues

all of us have participated in some

from the depths of our minds

we talk about someone

maybe we believe it to be truths

but it was not our truths to broadcast

Here i look

To see what has gossip cause now

who will bnwe hurt from the lies

it all starts with someone making a joke

than bam it becomes the truth

at least in all the little minds

that have nothing else to occupied their time

except the creative stories

some one has made up about you

than you're whole world unravels

as you begin to try and defend yourself

don't bother trying to tell the truth

it just makes it worst

the more you insist

it is not true

the more it grows

like a worm inside of your world

it twist itself around everything

you've ever touch

So what do you do

Especially when you see it effecting

not just you but someone else

how do you stop it from growing

killing the worm of destruction

before it can grow

limiting the damage

it could cause you

or worst some one else

who doesn't deserved it

maybe it will end up

affecting all the other people

who will avoid knowing

this great person

all becaause of the gossip

you saw beginning to form

and you stood

and did nothing to stop it

stomping it in the ground

Only thing to do is walk away

walk away from the gossip

walk away from the person

who will be victimize too

causing the very piece of gossip

to be stop in it origins

even when it means

seeing the person

shoulders drooping and head hanging

knowing it is better to stay quiet

let the joke die

before the rumors take life

and ruin everything
that they build

Gossip

no matter what you do

you still become the loser

better to have one loser than

have two losers

so walk away and leave the rumor died

this way at least someone does escape

the tradegy of Gossip
