Teach me to laugh in the Rain

Teach me to Laugh in the RaIN Current mood: bummed Category: Life       Exhausted from the turbulent waves  every time i make it above the water  a new wave of troubles comes  Just trying to hold my head above the floods  that are overwhelming me from the storm  Looking for someone to  teach me to laugh in the Rain  a way to rise above it all  make it sunny again  something positive  I've found little bits of sunshine  peeking out from under the rain drench leaves  of my past experiences  fallen leaves from the beginning of winter  than spring came  so I thought  but all i see is more turbulent storms ahead  I';m just looking for someone to show me a way  to Teach me to laugh in the rain If I could laugh i would  feel so much lighter  not like a rock sinking in the rushing  over drawn banks of a river  ready for a wall of water  that will come  wash all of me away  leaving the shell of who i once was  i no longer am sure  that anyone can  teach me to laugh in the rain   but if there is  someone who can guide me back  to the once positive Woman i was  who always was smiling  had control of all her emotions  never letting out a frown  just glad to be alive  experience the happiness  even in the smallest amount making the sun shine for others  The one who would hold others while they cry  and found joy in teaching them to laugh in the rain  could someone come  and tell me how  Cause i forgot  so Please is there someone who cares enough  just for a little while  i promised i won't keep you any longer than necessary   just long enough so you can teach me to laugh in the rain                           Lynn Higgs

Beautiful. I especially loved how the narrator shares that though she used to be the one teaching others to be happy through their troubles, now she needs a teacher - it shows just how human we all are, and that even the great can fall.
We all need someone to teach us to laugh in the rain sometimes. I know I do.
