Entry for December 24, 2007Innocence Victims of War

The Innocent Victims of War
Current mood: sad

The Innocent Victims of War

They look all around

all they see is destruction

mean sneers from those

who are there to destroy

open innocent eyes of a child

caught in the middle of a dispute

they have no clear understanding

too young to hate on their own

they take the poison from their family

They age older than they should

when one should be running and playing

they have to watch their step

making sure they avoid the evil ones

who perpetrated the tradegy

Look around at all they see

Death,fear and hopelessness

because of a misunderstanding

They have no way of Understanding

The innocent ones of War

The children who will

carry the memories

Of a Dispute they didn't understand

and Harbor the hate for all they Lost

or worst never live to see the days

when peace can abound in their land

for the people
