The ones

just for a short moment

 let you know of the nothingness  

they saw you as

 last a lifetime of pain upon your being

 seeking to find the light they shadow 

 with their darkness

 all you want to know is

 did they really think

 you were the nothingness

 to take their pain away

 or was it their pain 

 that cause them 

to show you the darkness 

 you still are seeking to forget
