Invasion of the darkness

Here again I find myself

so angry has happen once again

seeping in from all sides

Unable to stop it from occurring

wondering when will the memories stop

thinking  how cAN I HIDE THIS

LOOKING FOR COURAGE

FEELING FEAR OVERWHELM MY SOUL

nOT WANTING TO GO THERE

LOSt with the threat of darkness taking over

shhhhh maybe if we are real quiet

the darkness wont find us in the light

ALL THE JOY FouND LIVING STRIPPED AWAY

M0RE of darkness inside   reveal

jUST A CHILD WHEN IT STARTED

NEVER HAD A CHANCE to build the protection of a fort

THE WALLS THE REFUGE fall down

Nothing to stop the darkness

TO OVERCOME the  dimness of light

I CANNOT ESCAPE

ITs In me

THE DARKNESS COMES shutting out the light

EVERY REACTION PRAYING for THE END

NO MorE REVELATIONS

NO MORE AHA MOMENTS

NO MORE REMEmBERing

wanting to be someone else

someone without the darkness

WORRY sets in

IN THE REMEMBERING yOU BECOME LOST

IN THE FOREBODING DARKneSS

seeking to overwhelm you

take over all the light you found

iSn’t IT ENOUGH  to remember

THE TRUTH

Not knowing WHY YOU WERE  the one

SEEN AS EVIL

ALL THE MIND GAMES PLAYED OUT

RUN TO STAY in the  LIGHT

DARKNESS IS COMING IN

FLOoDING FROM ALL SIDES

DOn’t WANT TO SHARE THIS HORRID

YOU ALWAYS KNEW there was more

THIS HIDden THING NEVER to BE EXPLAIN

HAVE THE ANSWERS

but SCARE to speak them

warned about  asking ALL THE WRONG QUESTIONS

FILLED my HEAD WITH THE DEMONS THAT ATTACK

EVEN IN my SLEEP DEMONS WERE THERE

KEPT THIS ALL UNDERCOVER WALKing THROUGH PAST

PULLING THIS OUT and THAT

JUST A LITTLE MORE I WILL BE

JUST LIKE THE REST

THAts ALL I WANTED TO BE

JUST LIKE THE REST

NEVER WANTED MAGICAL POWERS

DIDN’T CARE ABOUT WHAT I  KNEW

OR HOW I KNEW

ONLY WANTED TO BE Just LIKE THE REST

jUST A CHILD JUST AN ADULT

JUST A WOMAN

DARKNESS SEEPIng IN

LETTINg IT ENCOMPASSED me

 IT NEEDS TO HAPPEN RIGHT

WITHOUT ANY OTHERS

I MUST LET THE DARKNESS OVERTAKE

TO REMEMBER WHen IT BEGAN

HOW THEY INITIATED IT

PULLED THE DRETCHED ACT OUT

 INTO THE OPEN

TO VIEW TO SEE TO understand and to let it go

maybe letting the darkness win

will  show how to stay in the light

not thinking not doing not reacting out

because of the darkness

but living to be just like them in the light

Just like everyone else
