Stolen IdentityA Poem by Nancy A Halbert
Stolen Identity
Beware love knocking on your door Announcing itself too loudly Could be someone with stolen Identity Making you feel Turning you to feel like A footprint in wet sand Flippant waves wash away A sanctuary in the desert Crumbling to sand A sure well mystifyingly dry Dropping that bucket again and again Or a passage turning into a wall Over and over. Sad are the ways of the world. © 2017 Nancy A HalbertReviews
