Blondie

Blondie

A Poem by Vinyl Junkie

Grains of sand run a chaotic trail
From aged sandals and heavenly sheets
Like memories jig sawed into careless piles.
Shaded beneath sunglasses, as the day surrounds with a new beginning.

The sky bends into a swell
And I am lost in dreams.

Flowing hair drizzles across
Golden shoulders like the gentle rains
Of tomorrow's good bye, drowned by a
Smile-God's dimples in form.

Ever is there such an image.
Lovers without a kiss.
