A Breeze

A Breeze

A Poem by Vinyl Junkie

A breeze carries me,
A log in the ebb and flow
Of a blankless sea, drifting
Directionless toward
The vision's edge.

I can feel the water kissing
My legs, splashing one way
And then another like a
Newborn child lightly pattering their
First bath. Sands swallow my feet
And I am engourged as
The winds throw a scent,
Viscous and complete.

Eyes close shut and breaths become
The measure. And I am trapped.

What a vision your flow of writing paints.. I can picture a person walking solo on a beach.. waves splashing.. the fresh scent of water in the air.. oh how I love the scent of being next to water or a good rain breeze drifting into the house.. splendid writing.. feel as if I am there right now!! As you can see from my picture.. I love walking at the water's edge! Thank you.. you've reminded me and I just can't wait for summer! =)
