MammaA Poem by Crys Marie
As I shed a single tear
I stare at the screen Wondering how you could be so mean To show not one ounce of care I need you there for me Mamma, why can't you see I need you to be there As I walk down the Isle With my cap and gown Waiting for my name to be called I want you to be there As I walk across the stage When I'm handed my diploma I wan't to turn towards you Smiling " Mamma I did it... Your Baby Girl Graduated High School" I want you to watch as I turn my tassel from left to right for you to see me toss my hat up into the air As I cheer and cry while I sing the school Alma mater One last time as a student at Toronto High School But as I look at your message on the screen I shed a single tear... knowing you will not be there. © 2018 Crys MarieReviews
