fear

 the fear rising inside of me

threatening the life inside

it said to run away from the pain

never to look back at what was behind me

 

i pushed it away saying

it would be ok

but

i knew it would never

be the same

 

when i walked though the door

i saw your face

the fear began to rise inside again

i wanted to fun

but my legs kept moving forward

the tears were stream ing

and the truth spilled out
