That I'll Never TakeA Poem by Poetic Angel
I searched the image of your eyes
The ocean depth Endless Written somewhere Were Answers to my questions Like broken sea glass Reflecting all the colors Of the moon , the sun , the stars the spectrum Overwhelmed me You were a thousand city lights Holding me tight The sand from A summer vacation I had never taken your skin against my fingertips Saltwater against my lips I searched for you Until it hurt Conjured connection In the reflection the image of your eyes Like the way the stars align captivated Like the ocean waves make love Endless to the shore Ive always needed more.. I've prayed Until I thought I'd break prayed until I became the ache Prayed until I felt You Fade I prayed and still I became this way Prayed and You're still A million miles away Like that summer vacation I'll never take -Poetic Angel
