I am poetry

Lit on fire 

Seared edges 

Black vapors 

Smoking desire 

Inferno inside 

Ember glow

The ghost at your bedside 

When the wind blows 

My charred confessions 

poetic obsessions

My holocaust manic depression 

Lust and combustion 

Consumed by the flames 

Burned dust ; I was 

Scar tissue and rain

Pain

ignited  

and I was 

never 

the same ..

It reads as if something deeply tragic has happened in your life, to spark this inferno of emotions and "chared confessions." A pain turned into a raw outlet of expression.

It's beautifully composed and evokes the emotion of anger/fight very well.

What truly lies behind this peice I may never know, but the last few lines:
"Pain ignited
And I was
Never
The same..."

Seems to me you're using this downpour of anger and pain as gasoline upon your heart to keep you moving forward through such dark times.
