Poets & Poetry

To me poetry is the spontaneous over flow of powerful feelings,

it takes origin from emotions recollected in tranquility.

A good poet who can manage a lifetime of standing out

in thunderstorms, to be struck by lighting five or six times,

even a dozen more.

Immature poets "Imitate", mature poet "steals",

to comprehend this you must understand the emotions

a poet can feel.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotions, but an escape

from emotions. It is not the expression of personality,

but an escape from personality, but of course only those

who have the personality and emotions, know what it means

to want to escape from these things.

Most people ignore most poetry, because poetry

ignores most people, for poetry is a work of art

only for those who want to bring to light whats been hiding in the dark.

I am a poet and i have a poets mind,

the poets mind is in fact , a receptacle for seizing and storing up,

numberless feelings, phrases, and images, in which the poet becomes limitless.
