A boy who lived on an island

Born with a great destiny

Until one fateful evening

When he found the kingdom key

His best friend Riku left him

As darkness tore them apart

Sora went to go find Kairi

But she flew into his heart

Whisked away from everything

He woke in a strange place

And soon found friends to guide him

And they flew off into space

Inside their trusty gummi ship

They went to many worlds

Donald and Goofy helped him

As they fought the heartless lords

Though enemies were plenty

Many new allies lent a hand

And from them his heart grew stronger

As they traveled to each land

Then after all the keyholes

Had been sealed by the keyblade

It was far too late for Riku

For a deal had now been made

Ansem was now inside him

And had thus taken control

And so Sora had to fight him

And prevent his evil goal

Kingdom Hearts must not open

Though it may once have been light

The darkness now withheld it

Only closing the doors was right

Though Riku stood before him

Sora could not bring him through

So they closed the doors together

Their friendship they did renew

Sora then promised Kairi

That one day he would return

He would try to get back Riku

A new oath had now been sworn.
