True Love's Heartbreak

True Love's Heartbreak

A Poem by Poetic Songstress
"

Loving someone and them not loving you back, a classic consequence of falling in love

"

The hardest thing you can ever do

Is love someone when they don't love you

There are times in life when you must decide

What is wrong and what is right

And who you love and why

It's so hard watching the one you love, love someone else

Your heart is breaking, your love has failed

It's so amazing how much one thing can shake you

Voices in your head telling you you'll never make it through

When what you once thought was love turned out to be untrue

The idea of this poem is brilliant, beautiful and amazing, but there's a lot of negative things in it that brings it down.
Like the way you've rhymed in the stanzas...
with the first stanza, with the first two lines rhyme, then the rest sound similar...
with the second stanza, the last three rhyme, but the first two don't...
I believe that brings it down a notch.
also, I think the last line of the first stanza uses the word 'and' to many times. I think it would be slightly better if the first one was cut.
Hopefully, I didn't destroy to much, lol :P
Keep up the good work.
