Unloved and Headstrong

Unloved and Headstrong

A Poem by Poetic Songstress
"

This one is more about myself and my family, and all the problems that are often inevitable.

"

Broken daughter turned shameful lover

Her tears they fall under the cover

Of nights when she's got no one to love her

How could it turn out like this?

Why do I have to be this way?

Even her friends, sometimes they wonder

If she falls will she let them save her?

So careful not to leave a single trace

Of all the tears that fell from her face

She'd rather die than let them see her cry

Such a sad disgrace

When such a pretty girl falls so far from grace

Good work! I enjoyed this poem because I think it is so relateable and it flows together so well. I absolutely love your ending line ...... falls so far from grace .... very powerful ........ Your poem definetly ends with a the message of the poem ringing loud and clear! :)
Well Done!
