Poem for a friend of mine, who I love dearly

Does he know

that I get scared

Every time I hear a plane

Fly overhead

Does he know

How much I pray for him

And how much I think about him

Always wishing he were here?

Does he know

That not knowing

Keeps me up at night

Worrying if he's alright

Does he know

How much he means to me

How much I love him so?

Reminds me of a punk song. I love the repetition and short stanzas--works well and gives an unfulfilled feeling. Great job!
