Mess

Mess

A Poem by Poetic Songstress
"

Can a painful past always mean a painful future as well?

"

The pain of childhood memories

Things I never said and things they never did

Just keep forever haunting me

One day I'll deal with it

But until then I guess

I'll just remain

This horrible, terrible mess

A painful past does not need to mean you have to have a painful future. You need to take charge and find the way you can either overcome the pain or deal with it. Whether that be through talking to a third party about things and how to deal with them or some other means. Whatever this painful past is, right now it is holding you captive because you see it as being a block to your future so try to take charge and not let it hold you down.
