Lost and Found

Lost and Found

A Poem by PoeticParadox
"

A short abstract poem about missing someone that you shouldn't miss.

"
Please baby, don't sleep
I can't feel my breath without your hand on my chest
My mind is falling apart at the stitches in my heart
I'd describe you like a sunset
But sunsets and roses are soft, and beautiful
          You love like a volcano
An explosion of heat that envelops everything
Leaving behind charred remains of men
          Grateful to have burned
I don't want you back
                    But it's cold here
And you didn't quite kill me last time
