I dream of a worldA Poem by Too PoeticA poem about world peace
I dream of a world united by peace,
Standing proudly under one flag, An undivided community, living in harmony. An indivisible unit, a family, an army of love. A world which consists of one map, One continent, one country. Where racism is pronounced deceased The time of death, September, twenty seventh, two thousand sixteen. I dream of world, where all and every religions are practiced freely. I dream of a world where humans can coexist, living as one entity, sharing the same mentality. brothers in arms in the name of humanity, Fighting wars against disease rather than inventing new ways and means To exterminate entire populations within other countries. I dream of a world where our focus faces the real enemy. An enemy whose greed for more, whose greed for wars, whose greed for oil is insatiable, An enemy who thrives for and feeds off turmoil. Let us stand side by side and tell our enemy that we shall have no more. No more will we stand to see our brothers fall, no more shall our sisters have to endure single parenting, due to having lost her husband in a war, Without a means to provide for her family of four, how can we ignore her, turning the deafest ear as she calls out to the world. We can end this madness of greed by uniting under the flag of the masses wishing to be free. Whose only goal is to see human prosperity, Prospering the righteous way, and not what society has created. We can end this bloodshed, we can end this greed, By opening our eyes to the true reality. By seeing that within every son of Adam's skin Is the color red, not white nor black, not Arab nor Jewish but the color red, the same red that spills on concretes across the globe, To our enemy we say no more, no more of your wars, no more of your greed, no more of your turmoil, no more of your chaos. I dream of world where we say no more. © 2016 Too PoeticAuthor's Note
