Wishful / Loving You

Wishful / Loving You

A Poem by Butch Decatoria
"

A Poem in Cinquain form...

"

1.

Sometimes,

we malign words

of affection, twisting

our love-making from silk to wool...

sewn hope

2.

Sometimes

we forgive nights

blue-balled in anger's sleep

forgetting why we punched soft beds

thrusting

3.

Sometimes

we silence mouths

in tongues' salivations

drool like silver tossed in fountains

wishful

4.

To love

each other's strengths

is to encourage weakness

with shouts and malaised lesson's touch

teachings

5.

Love me

when we are spent

laughing or morbidly

melancholy yet always bright;

falling...

Oh... I think my heart just skipped a beat.
I love the way it flows from one line to the next, and always turning corners into something I didn't expect...
